Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Atlantic Seaboard, Chapmans Peak, FalseBay Scenic Flight

The Atlantic Seaboard & "The Riviera"
The flight begins with a climb over the V&A Waterfront, offering a clear view of the Cape Town Stadium and the Green Point urban park. As you head south, you track the Atlantic Seaboard, soaring over the turquoise waters of Clifton’s four beaches and the palm-lined arc of Camps Bay. The sheer granite faces of the Twelve Apostles mountain range tower to your left, providing a sense of scale only visible from the air.
Hout Bay & Chapman’s Peak
Continuing along the coast, the helicopter rounds the "Sentinel" mountain into Hout Bay. You’ll look down on the bustling fishing harbor and the famous seal colony at Duiker Island. The route then hugs the cliffs of Chapman’s Peak Drive. From this vantage point, you can appreciate the engineering marvel of the road as it clings to the mountainside hundreds of meters above the crashing Atlantic surf.
Crossing to the "Second Ocean"
After passing the vast white sands of Noordhoek Beach, the flight cuts across the peninsula toward the warmer waters of False Bay. This "cross-over" reveals the lush, green heart of the Cape, transitioning from the rugged Atlantic cliffs to the softer, sun-drenched slopes of the Indian Ocean side.
False Bay & Simon’s Town
The return leg tracks north along the False Bay coastline. Key highlights include:
Constantia Valley & Table Mountain
The final stretch takes you over the historic Constantia Valley, South Africa’s oldest wine region. You’ll fly past the back slopes of Table Mountain and Devil’s Peak, gaining a rare view of the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens from above. The flight concludes with a dramatic sweep over the City Bowl before a smooth landing back at the Waterfront.
